Does my insurance cover your fee?

No, your fee is separate from your insurance premium. We will not bill your insurance or collect copays.

Can I use my Health Savings Plan to Pay for my membership?

If you have a Health Savings Account, you may indeed be able to use that to cover the cost. Please confirm with your insurance company. In addition, if your insurance has other cost-savings plans please ask them for the details and we can provide the necessary paperwork if required.

Do I still need my insurance?

While we will not bill your plan, insurance can continue to be used to cover your lab tests, radiology testing, medications, copays for any specialists, surgeries, or if you become hospitalized.

What do you mean by access?

To communicate with the office during office hours, you can call or send an email to us directly. If you require urgent care after hours you may text or call the physician and expect a response. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 911.

Who else is in your practice?

It will only be Dr. Goytia-Leos in the practice.

What is your specialty and do you have an age limit?

Dr. Goytia-Leos specializes in Internal Medicine. She has had years of practice both in the hospital setting and in outpatient medicine. The practice can attend to those 18 years and over.

Where will you be located?

Our office is at 202 Sunset Road, Building 2, San Antonio, TX 78209, which has plenty of parking and is a one story “casita.”

Who will be covering you if you are absent?

At times, Dr Goytia-Leos will need time off to recharge or attend conferences. While she will be available for urgent issues after hours by phone or text, there will be times she will have another physician on-call who will provide the same level of service.

What hospitals do you go to?

While Dr. Goytia-Leos doesn’t go to the hospital, she does have established relationships with several hospitalists in town and will work hard to communicate with even those she doesn’t in order to make her patients transition home as successful as possible. This will include making sure her patients are in contact with her soon after discharge to review diagnosis, medications and recovery plan.
